RBI, SLBC Organize Walkathon to Boost Financial Knowledge Among Women
To support the measure, the RBI organised a 2k walk at the Osmania university campus, as part of the Financial Literacy week in collaboration with State Level Bankers Committee (SLBC).

To support the measure, the RBI organised a 2k walk at the Osmania university campus, as part of the Financial Literacy week in collaboration with State Level Bankers Committee (SLBC).
He stressed the need to make women well-equipped to take financial decisions to become financially smart and prosper in all endeavors. He called on this years theme ‘Women Prosperity’ which is focused on financial planning for homemakers, savings and risk management for working women.
Rajesh Kumar, chief general manager, SBI Hyderabad, appreciated the active participation of banks in Financial Literacy week and taking role to improve women in economic growth.
Prakash Chandra Baror, convener of SLBC Telangana thanked RBI and member banks for participation and assured the objectives to be successfully achieved through efforts.
The walkathon participated by officials from RBI and other banks, also students from the Osmania university.
