Ramgopalpet Police Recovers Cash Bag, Returns to Owner Swiftly

Hyderabad: The Ramgopalpet police swiftly responded to a citizen's distress and successfully recovered a forgotten bag containing cash worth Rs.1.20 lakh within a short time, restoring it safely to its rightful owner.
On May 18, 2026, a complaint was received from Sai Kumar. The complainant stated that at around 2 pm, he arrived at KIMS hospital in an auto-rickshaw for his father’s surgery. In his anxiety, he accidentally forgot his bag inside the auto-rickshaw. The bag contained a crucial amount of Rs.1.20 lakh meant for medical expenses.
Upon receiving the complaint, Ramgopalpet Inspector B. Suresh Kumar swung into action and deployed a specialized crime team, which verified the CCTV footage along the route, successfully traced the registration number of the auto-rickshaw, and located its driver.
Following the prompt tracking by the police team, the auto-rickshaw driver came to the Ramgopalpet police station and safely handed over the complainant's bag, containing the entire cash intact.
Sai Kumar expressed his profound and sincere gratitude to the Ramgopalpet police for their response and dedication during his hour of crisis.
