Ramagundam: Two Die in DCM Van-Lorry Collision
The identities of the deceased are yet to be established. Police have registered a case and launched an investigation to ascertain the exact cause of the accident.
Ramagundam: Two persons were killed in a road accident near Krishna Nagar in the NTPC area of Ramagundam during the early hours of Wednesday.
According to police, a DCM van travelling from Chhattisgarh rammed into a stationary lorry from behind. The impact of the collision completely crushed the front portion of the van, killing the driver and the cleaner on the spot.
Police rushed to the scene after receiving information about the accident. The bodies, which were trapped inside the cabin of the DCM van, were removed and shifted to a government hospital for post-mortem examination.
