Rajnath Singh to Attend Hyderabad Liberation Day

Kishan Reddy highlighted Modi’s emphasis on the Swachh Bharat campaign in the recent program, noting that cleanliness in slums, cities, and across the country is vital for better health.

Hyderabad: Defence minister Rajnath Singh will participate in the Hyderabad Liberation Day at Secunderabad Parade Ground on September 17. The day will also mark the observance of Vishwakarma Day as National Workers’ Day, said Union minister G. Kishan Reddy on Sunday.

After watching Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s `Mann ki Baat’ program along with local residents at Borabanda, Kishan Reddy praised the Prime Minister’s uninterrupted tradition of sharing heartfelt thoughts with the nation. He said Modi connects with people every month, delivering clear messages on development, culture, sports, and infrastructure.

Kishan Reddy highlighted Modi’s emphasis on the Swachh Bharat campaign in the recent program, noting that cleanliness in slums, cities, and across the country is vital for better health. He recalled that Swachh Bharat was the first major initiative taken by Modi as Prime Minister, leading to the construction of toilets in millions of poor households and restoring dignity to women.

Condemning Rahul Gandhi and other Congress leaders’ derogatory comments against Modi’s late mother, Kishan Reddy urged people to hold such leaders accountable. He also criticized the Congress government in Telangana for failing to fulfill key promises like the Mahalakshmi scheme and financial aid to unemployed youth, accusing them of corruption and mismanagement and urged the voters to teach Congress a lesson for their disrespectful behaviour.
