Rajanarsimha Reviews Seasonal Diseases, Hospital Services
Officials informed that the seasonal influenza situation in Telangana is currently fully under control and that all necessary testing reagents are readily available.
Hyderabad: Health Minister Damodar Rajanarsimha here on Saturday reviewed the situation of seasonal diseases in the state.
At a meeting with officials concerned, he asked about the measures being taken to prevent diseases, medical services provided to patients in government hospitals, and other aspects.
The Minister directed officials to strengthen surveillance and preventive measures, ensure preparedness at all government hospitals, intensify fever surveys and mosquito-control activities, and closely monitor ILI cases in view of the rise in seasonal influenza cases in Delhi, Maharashtra and other States.
