Rajanarsimha Hails Bhadrachalam Doctors for Saving 52 Lives after Chloroquine Illness

The minister stated that emergency and quality medical services are being provided even in government hospitals in remote forest areas

Hyderabad: Health Minister Damodar Rajanarsimha congratulated the doctors and staff of Bhadrachalam Area Hospital for responding promptly and saving 52 lives.

Expressing delight over the doctors who immediately responded and provided better medical care to 47 children and five adults who fell ill after taking chloroquine tablets, when they were shifted to Bhadrachalam Area Hospital from Gollaguppa area in Polavaram district of Andhra Pradesh state on Tuesday night, the minister said.

On this occasion, the minister stated that emergency and quality medical services are being provided even in government hospitals in remote forest areas.
