NALGONDA: Munugode MLA Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy appears to be drawing other Congress leaders into the controversy over his failure to secure a Cabinet post.
On Monday, Rajagopal Reddy posted a message on “X” along with a news clipping featuring Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, in which Bhatti mentioned that the Congress high command had assured a ministerial post to Rajagopal Reddy in his presence.
Rajagopal Reddy also thanked Bhatti for informing the public through the media that the party high command had indeed assured him a ministerial post, but that some leaders had created hurdles and insulted him. Stating that a ministerial post was not important to him, he said the Congress government should focus on fulfilling its promises to the people and ensuring corruption-free governance. The government’s functioning, he added, should meet the expectations of the people of the state.
