Hyderabad: The city police have booked BJP MLA T. Raja Singh for allegedly making provocative speeches and using a DJ system during the Sri Rama Navami shobha Yatra on Sunday. Police also booked Bhagyanagar Ganesh Utsav general secretary Bhagwant Rao for using high-volume sound systems during the procession.
The case were booked by the Mangalhat, Tappachabutra, Shahinyathgunj and Afzalgunj police, officials said.
The case on the MLA was based on videos where he is heard making allegedly hate speeches. Police said they had collected the videos as evidence.
