Hyderabad:The state government on Tuesday appointed retired IRS officer Raja Sekhar Reddy Lakkadi as chairman of the Telangana Pollution Control Board (TGPCB) with immediate effect.
According to an order issued by the environment, forests, science and technology department the government considered his special knowledge and practical experience in environmental protection while making the appointment.
His tenure will be for three years from the date of the order.
