Jana Reddy like leaders creating hurdles to him in getting berth in the cabinet: Rajagopal Reddy
Raj Gopal Reddy claimed that Jana Reddy, who held ministerial positions for three decades, had failed to advocate for representation from Ranga Reddy and Hyderabad districts during his tenure

Nalgonda: Against the backdrop of reports that he would be inducted into the Cabinet, despite his brother Venkat Reddy being a minister, Congress Munugode MLA Komatireddy Raj Gopal Reddy on Sunday asked what was wrong in two brothers being ministers. He said the brothers Yusuf Pathan and Irfan Pathan had played together in the Indian cricket team.
He was responding to questions from the media, after the swearing-in ceremony of the Chityal agricultural market committee. He said he was not the kind of person that lobbied for posts, but the political atmosphere had forced him to do so. He said he would not consider the post as a crown but as a responsibility to serve the people.
He noted that senior Congress leader K. Jana Reddy was lobbying for representation in the Cabinet for Rangareddy and Hyderabad districts, but had not raised the matter when he (Jana Reddy) was in the Cabinet.
Nakrekal MLA Vemula Veeresham said that they were ready to sign a representation seeking a Cabinet post to Raj Gopal Reddy, who he termed as an unique person doing social service mixed politics. He said that the Congress government would be strengthened if Raj Gopal Reddy was taken into the Cabinet.
Bhongir MLA Khumbam Anil Kumar said that opportunity should be provided to Raj Gopal Reddy, who has support of MLAs of erstwhile Nalgonda district.
