Rains: Revanth Reddy Asks District Collectors To Remain On High Alert
Revanth Reddy said that all departments must work in coordination to ensure that people do not face any inconvenience in areas affected by the heavy rains

Hyderabad: In view of heavy rains lashing across the State, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has issued instructions to all district Collectors to remain on high alert.
The Chief Minister, who is currently in New Delhi, held discussions with officials from the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO). He directed that all departments must work in coordination to ensure that people do not face any inconvenience in areas affected by the heavy rains, and that appropriate relief measures be taken in low-lying areas.
Since rains are occurring not only in Greater Hyderabad but across all districts of the State, he instructed that people residing near water bodies and in flood-prone zones, be alerted and remain safe.
In districts where heavy rainfall is forecast, the Chief Minister asked the district Collectors to continuously review the situation in coordination with all departments. He emphasized that all necessary precautions must be taken to prevent any loss of life or property.
The Chief Minister also instructed officials to remain accessible within their respective districts, be prepared to handle any situation arising from the rains or floods, apart from extending any needed assistance.
Revanth Reddy advised senior officials and district Collectors to stay in constant touch and review the situation at regular intervals.
