Rains: Cyberabad Police Urges IT Companies to Grant Early Logout or WFH Option
The police made the request to companies as heavy rainfall was predicted in the GHMC limits
Hyderabad: The Cyberabad police on Tuesday issued an advisory asking IT and ITeS companies to grant early logout facility for morning shift employees and Work From Home (WFH) option for evening shift employees due to heavy rain forecast
In a tweet, the Cyberabad police said, “Due to predictions of heavy rainfall in the city, we recommend companies and employees to plan for an early logout starting 3 pm in staggered manner today and evening shifts may consider WFH to ensure safety, avoid traffic congestion and uninterrupted movement of emergency services.”
The police made the request to the companies as heavy rainfall was predicted in the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) limits, especially western part of Hyderabad. For the last few days, incessant rains continued to lash the city disrupting traffic movement in the evening.
