Hyderabad: Telangana is set to witness an intense spell of monsoon activity, with heavy to very heavy rains expected in several districts, especially in the eastern parts of the state. According to the latest weather updates, districts such as Khammam, Bhadradri-Kothagudem, Suryapet, Mahabubabad, and Mulugu are likely to receive heavy downpours between evening and early morning hours.
Meanwhile, moderate to heavy rainfall is also expected to affect several central and south-central districts including Nalgonda, Nagarkurnool, Mahabubnagar, Rangareddy, Yadadri-Bhongir, Jangaon, Warangal, Hanmakonda, Bhupalapally, Peddapalli, and Mancherial.
Hyderabad city braces for scattered moderate to heavy rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms during the evening and night. Commuters are advised to plan accordingly as intense spells could lead to traffic disruptions and waterlogging in low-lying areas.
