Rain Delays Rythu Ashirvada Sabha in Khammam

The site had become muddy following rainfall over the past week, making it unsuitable for the public meeting.
Nalgonda: The Rythu Ashirvada Sabha scheduled to be held at Jagandhapuram in Chintakani mandal of Khammam district on June 30 has been postponed due to heavy rain.
Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, who visited the venue, said the site had become muddy following rainfall over the past week, making it unsuitable for the public meeting.
The event was planned for the Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy to launch the crediting of the kharif instalment of Rythu Bharosa assistance into farmers’ bank accounts.
Officials said the public meeting will now be held between July 6 and 8 to mark the conclusion of the distribution programme.
Agriculture minister Tummala Nageswara Rao said the Chief Minister would instead launch the crediting of the kharif instalment at a programme at Shilpakala Vedika in Hyderabad on June 30.
