Private Schools Directed to Publicly Disclose 2026-27 Fee Structure or Face Action

Hyderabad:Private unaided schools must publicly disclose their 2026-27 fee structure on notice boards, school websites and the school education department portal. The department has warned that non-compliance will invite show-cause notices and action under existing rules.

The director of school education said a facility has been created on schooledu.telangana.gov.in for schools to upload fee details.

Schools must also upload documents used to fix class-wise fees under Rules 16 and 18 of GO Ms. No. 1, Education (P.S.2), dated January 1, 1994. The documents must have signatures of governing body members. Officials were told to act under Rule 11 against schools that fail to publish the fees.
