Prakash Purab Fete At Tivoli Gardens On Sunday

HYDERABAD: The Sikh community is gearing up for the birth anniversary celebrations of Guru Gobind Singh on Sunday. Community leaders held a press conference to outline the arrangements for the day. The 359th Prakash Purab of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji will be celebrated at Tivoli Gardens from 10.30 am to 3.30 pm.
A Vishaal Deewan (mass congregation) will be organised on a large scale under the guidance of the Prabhandak Committee Gurdwara Sahib Secunderabad.
The committee’s president S. Baldev Singh Bagga, general secretary S. Jagmohan Singh, and secretary Harpreet Singh Gulati said the Vishaal Deewan will witness the participation of hundreds of Sikh devotees, along with members of other faiths. The programme will feature recitations of Gurbani Kirtans (holy hymns) and Gurbani Vichar by reputed Ragi Jathas, specially invited from different parts of the country to render Shabad Kirtans.
