Ponnam Expresses Shock over RTC Bus Accident near Jukkal

Hyderabad: Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar on Thursday expressed shock over the RTC bus accident near Jukkal leading to the death of a bus driver.
The death of the bus driver has deeply disturbed him. He has ordered to provide better medical treatment to the injured.
The bus belonging to Hyderabad-1 depot was going from Hyderabad to Bichkunda when it hit a divider on the side of the road near Bichkunda at around 12 noon and overturned.
Prabhakar spoke to the RTC MD, District Collector and SP over the phone and enquired about the reasons for the accident. The minister said that he was deeply disturbed that the bus driver Anjaneyulu got trapped under the bus and died in the accident.
He expressed his deepest condolences to the family members of the deceased. The officials explained to the minister that there were a total of 13 passengers in the bus, and although all of them escaped safely, some of them sustained minor injuries.
They said that the injured passengers were taken to a nearby hospital. The minister instructed the officials to provide quality medical treatment to the injured in the accident. He suggested that all necessary medical assistance measures be taken immediately.
Prabhakar ordered that officials led by Regional Manager should immediately reach the scene of the incident and supervise the relief efforts and provide all necessary support to the victims.
The minister suggested that the officials should work in coordination to get to know the complete details of the circumstances leading to the accident and provide the necessary assistance to the victims.
