Ponguleti Inspects Indiramma Houses in Nizamabad

The Minister also interacted with the beneficiaries to understand their experiences

Hyderabad: As part of Nizamabad district visit, Revenue and Housing Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy conducted a morning walk on Saturday and inspected Indiramma houses that are under construction and those already completed.

He also interacted with the beneficiaries to understand their experiences. While speaking with the beneficiaries, the joy of their dream of owning a home was visibly sparkling in their eyes. The words they expressed—offering blessings to this government and gratitude to Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy—filled the Minister with immense happiness and pride.

Witnessing firsthand the transformation that the welfare schemes implemented by the government are bringing into the lives of poor families is a truly remarkable feeling. The joy visible on their faces is proof that the goals of a people's government are being realized.

“What more could a person want than this? Every time I speak with the beneficiaries of Indiramma houses, I consider it my good fortune to have the responsibility of fulfilling the long-standing dreams of the poor. On this occasion, I presented gifts to the beneficiaries and conveyed my best wishes,” he said.

“We are taking the initiative from Nizamabad to construct Indiramma house towers, modeled after those in Hyderabad, in other towns across the state as well. For this purpose, an inspection was conducted of government lands related to the Housing department within the Nizamabad Corporation limits,” he explained.

The goal of this government is to provide Indiramma houses—symbols of dignity for the poor—to all the homeless and needy across the state.

Already, two phases in rural areas, along with the first phase of houses in Hyderabad, have resulted in the approval of eight lakh houses, with two lakh houses completed and housewarming ceremonies also concluded.

In Nizamabad town, an inspection was carried out of the double-bedroom housing community that previous governments had planned to build but left half-finished and abandoned. Instructions were issued to the district collector and officials to immediately complete the necessary constructions and facilities to make them habitable, select eligible beneficiaries, approve and allot the houses, and hand them over.
