Ponguleti Hints at Good News for Scribes Next Year
He explained that Supreme Court orders had delayed the allocation process, but assured that the government would overcome the hurdles and deliver positive news soon

Nalgonda:Revenue and I&PR minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy on Saturday said journalists could expect “good news” regarding the allocation of house sites in the New Year. He noted that the issue had already been discussed with Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy.
He explained that Supreme Court orders had delayed the allocation process, but assured that the government would overcome the hurdles and deliver positive news soon. Srinivas Reddy made these remarks during his virtual address to the district-level meeting of the Telangana Working Journalists Federation (TWJF) in Khammam.
The minister also said the issue of new accreditation cards was in its final stages and a Government order would be issued within 10 days. Every eligible journalist, he added, would receive accreditation. He appreciated the journalist unions and their members for unitedly fighting for their rights.
Srinivas Reddy was scheduled to attend the meeting in person but had to travel to Hyderabad. His address over the phone was broadcast through the public address system at the venue.
