Police Stop BRS MLAs From Visiting Kannepalli Pump House
Legislators protest after officials insist on Chief Engineer’s permission

Kalleshwaram:A team of BRS MLAs was stopped by police from entering the Kannepalli pump house of the Kaleshwaram project on Saturday, triggering a brief protest by the legislators.
Police told the team that permission from the Chief Engineer (CE) was required to enter the pump house. The MLAs objected to being denied access and attempted to contact the CE over the phone to obtain clearance.
However, the official did not answer their calls, leaving the legislators without the required permission. They staged a brief protest at the site.
The MLAs had planned to inspect the pump house, a key component of the Kaleshwaram project. The visit could not proceed as planned, with police maintaining that access would be allowed only after approval from the chief engineer concerned.
