Hyderabad:The Gachibowli police on Monday issued notices to Krishank Manne, BRS social media convener, in connection to his social media posts on the ongoing Kanche Gachibowli row.

A police official confirmed that Krishank was served notices on Monday at Telangana Bhavan asking him to appear for investigation on April 9 and 10. Meanwhile, Konatham Dileep was asked to serve notices to appear for investigation.

With most of the cases related to social posts circulating on his feed and related profiles, cases were being filed against Krishank. In a span of 16 months, cases against him rose from 17 to 21 followed by the four cases registered against him in Gachibowli police station on April 3 with the Gachibowli police.

The cases were filed by a forest range officer, chairman of TPCC Social Media and two NSUI members. They claimed that the videos obtained by Krishank alleged the death of a spotted deer followed by the pictures of a dead deer, and also claimed that he morphed the photos and videos related to the Kanche Gachibowli issue.

Questioning his source, the police served notices to Krishank to appear for questioning.

Reacting to the notices, Krishank stated that this is a clear case of political vendetta to stifle opposition. “I will cooperate with the investigation and continue to raise my voice where it matters,” he said.

It can be recalled that he was also charged for the power outage claims in Osmania Campus, Som Distilleries Case in Bhopal, for questioning the Musi contract awarded to Meinhardt, a company allegedly linked to Pakistan, unauthorised rally post KTR’s questioning by the ACB and other cybercrime cases.
