Police Issue Lookout Notice Against Bandi Sai Bageerath
Officials have formed five special teams to search for Bageerath. Searches are underway in Hyderabad, Karimnagar, and Delhi. Police are also checking his residence in Banjara Hills.

Hyderabad: With the Telangana High Court refusing interim protection to Bandi Sai Bageerath, in the POCSO case registered at the Petbasheerabad police station, the state police have issued a lookout notice against him. The Cyberabad Police have intensified efforts to locate the accused, who is currently not traceable.
The police had served a notice to Bhageerath to come for questioning on the 13th. He informed the police through an email that he could not come on the 13th due to personal reasons and would appear before the investigating officer on the 15th (Friday). With this, the police waited until Friday evening. The police, who concluded that the accused was absconding as he was not at home and his phone was switched off, deployed special teams to search for him. Officials have formed five special teams to search for Bageerath. Searches are underway in Hyderabad, Karimnagar, and Delhi. Police are also checking his residence in Banjara Hills.
On Friday, a vacation bench of the Telangana High Court declined to grant interim protection from arrest to Bandi Sai Bageerath. Justice T. Madhavi Devi, after hearing the anticipatory bail petition filed by Bageerath’s counsel, reserved orders for Thursday, May 21. The judge refused to grant interim protection, status quo, or any other relief to Bageerath, despite repeated requests from his counsel.
Senior counsel S. Niranjan Reddy, appearing for Bageerath, requested the court to pronounce orders on May 18 or give oral directions to the police not to take action against his client. The court, however, stated that the vacation bench could not sit for pronouncement of orders.
