PM To Lay Foundation Stone and Dedicate Projects Worth Rs 9400 Crore

Projects include highways, rail works, textile park and industrial zone

Hyderabad: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will power Telangana with modern infrastructure works worth Rs 9,400 crore during his visit here on May 10.

The key projects include four-laning of Hyderabad-Panaji Economic Corridor, which passes through Mahbubnagar district. The 80-km project costs Rs 3,180 crore. The corridor is expected to reduce the travel time from 12 hours to eight and passes through Maktal, Magunur, Marikar, Devarakonda and Narayanpet.

Modi will lay the foundation stone for the Rs 2,360-crore Zaheerabad Industrial Area, expected to enable MSME growth and attract global investment..

The Prime Minister will inaugurate and dedicate various sections of Kazipet–Vijayawada multi-tracking project of 118 km costing Rs 1,250 crore and the 21-km-long Kazipet Rail Under Bypass. He will lay the foundation stone for Rs 610 crore greenfield POL Terminal at Malkapur. The facility of Indian Oil will streamline fuel distribution. He will also dedicate PM Mitra Kakatiya Mega Textile Park, constructed at a cost of Rs 1,700 crore.

Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, Union ministers Nitin Gadkari, Ashwini Vaishnav, Giriraj Singh, G. Kishan Reddy, Union MoS for home Bandi Sanjay Kumar and others will attend the programme.
