PM Sansad Khel Mahotsav Kicks Off In Secunderabad
The competitions are open to juniors, degree and inter-colleges, media professionals, women in bastis with musical chairs, and specially-abled participants.
HYDERABAD: Governor Jishnu Dev Varma inaugurated the 15-day-long PM Sansad Khel Mahotsav kicked off at the LB Stadium on Thursday. The event is being organised by Atal Behari Vajpayee Foundation for Secunderabad Parliament constituency limits under the guidance of Union minister G. Kishan Reddy.
BJP Telangana president N. Ramchander Rao, badminton coach Pullela Gopichand, ace shuttler Saina Nehwal, and Indian women cricketers Diana David and Dristi Kesari were present. On the occasion, Kishan Reddy said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was prioritising development of sports infrastructure and encouraging athletes, which reflected in increased the harvest of medals at global events.
