Phone Tapping Case: Bandi Sanjay To Testify Before SIT On July 28

Hyderabad: Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, Bandi Sanjay Kumar, has informed that he would appear before the police on July 28 at 12 noon to record his statement in connection with phone tapping case.
In a letter to the Jubilee Hills Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP), Sanjay said the former called OSD and Personal Assistants - Pasunuru Madhu, Boinpally Praveen Kumar and Pogula Thirupathi to record statements on July 24 at 11 am and requested to inform a suitable date and time at earliest convenience.
“A request was also made to postpone the inquiry. It was submitted that as Parliament monsoon sessions were scheduled from July 21, I will be in New Delhi to attend the Parliament session and OSD and Personal Assistants are also attending with me in New Delhi for my assistance,” he said.
“I request you to fix the date on July 28 at 12 noon to ascertain to record the statements,” he said.
