Petroleum Dealers Seek Restoration of Fuel Supply As per Indents
In a press statement, the association said dealers across several districts have not been receiving supplies in line with their indents over the past three weeks.

Hyderabad: The Telangana Petroleum Dealers Association has flagged irregular fuel supply and rising financial stress among retailers amid the recent revision in petrol and diesel prices.
In a press statement, the association said dealers across several districts have not been receiving supplies in line with their indents over the past three weeks. The association urged the ministry of petroleum and oil marketing companies (OMCs) to restore supplies as per dealer demand. It also sought government intervention to address increased capital requirements faced by retailers to ensure continued operations.
The association stated that the current increase of ₹3 per litre was limited and did not fully offset accumulated losses of OMCs, adding that the revision was moderated to avoid inflationary impact on consumers.
Association president M. Amarender Reddy said, “While we recognise the necessity of the price revision for OMCs, the retail dealer community is facing two immediate and serious challenges. The first is working capital strain. With every price hike, dealers must invest significantly more capital to maintain the same daily stock levels, placing immense financial pressure on small and medium-scale retail outlets.”
