People Throng Nampally Exhibition Grounds for Fish Prasadam

Hyderabad: A large number of people from different parts of the country started arriving at Exhibition Grounds in Nampally to avail fish prasadam on the occasion of Mrigasira Karthi.
The annual fish prasadam distribution is scheduled to begin on June 8 at 9 pm and will continue up to 9 pm on June 9.
The members of Bathini family will administer fish prasadam containing herbal paste along with a live fish to patients suffering from asthma at free of cost. On its part, the department of fisheries kept as many as 1.2 lakh murrel fish seed ready for fish prasadam distribution.
The Hyderabad police made elaborate arrangements for the smooth distribution of fish prasadam. Adequate number of police was deployed to ensure a proper queue system at the Exhibition Grounds. The traffic police imposed regulations and diversions to avoid unnecessary chaos.
