Hyderabad: The sleuths of EAGLE Team conducted raids at Hyderabad Central University (HCU) and detained a peddler for bringing ganja from Assam and selling it to students. Seventeen students tested positive for ganja.
Following information that a few students were allegedly indulging in consumption of ganja, the EAGLE team carried out raids in the morning. The team conducted a ganja test to two dozen students and of them two tested positive.
The team is collecting more details from the peddler to know the modus operandi adopted in bringing the contraband from Assam to Hyderabad.
