Hyderabad: In view of the ongoing redevelopment works at the Secunderabad railway station, the South Central Railway (SCR) has temporarily suspended the parking facility at platform number. 1 (one) and pick and drop facilities are allowed only for a minimal time.
However, passengers were allowed to utilise the parking facility available on the side of platform number 10 for boarding trains, as well as pick-up and dropping purposes also.
Railway officials said that signages showing direction have been installed, besides, announcements are made through public address system to guide passengers. The measures have been taken keeping in mind the development of railway amenities as well as minimising inconvenience to rail users, the officials, added.
