Pakistani Soaps Reach Vikarabad; Police Investigating
Police seized Pakistani-made soaps and face creams from a Vikarabad shop and are investigating how the products reached the market.

Police have discovered Pakistani soaps and face creams on sale in the Vikarabad area. The Pakistani products were found available at Sonu Ladies Emporium, which was selling 'Gori' whitening soaps.
Acting on the orders of inspector Raghu Kumar, a team comprising sub-inspector Meenakshi and constables Bharat and Kavitha raided Sonu Ladies Emporium and seized the soaps and face creams, bearing the “Made in Pakistan” label. A video recorded by SI Meenakshi while standing in front of Sonu Ladies Emporium has now gone viral on social media.
“We received credible information that banned products were being offered for sale. Selling products without authorisation or banned items is an offense; we have seized these goods and will initiate legal action,” she explained in the video.
However, the inspector stated that during preliminary inquiry, the emporium manager claimed these products were purchased at Begum Bazar. He added that an investigation is underway to find out how the products reached the shop.
