Dedicated helpline at Telangana Bhavan offers support, though no casualties reported
Hyderabad: In the wake of Tuesday’s terror attack in Pahalgam, the Telangana government has set up a dedicated helpline at Telangana Bhavan in New Delhi to assist its residents and their families. While no one from Telangana has been reported among the injured, missing or deceased, state authorities are being vigilant.
A government spokesperson said the helpline will provide real-time updates and support to anyone concerned about loved ones in the affected region. Two senior officials — Vandhana (9871999044) and Hyder Ali Naqvi (9971387500) — have been appointed to field calls and coordinate responses.
Officials at Telangana Bhavan are working closely with the Jammu and Kashmir administration and Central agencies to monitor developments and ensure rapid assistance should any Telangana resident be impacted. The state government has urged its citizens to stay calm and rely on the helpline for verified information.
