Over 500 Voter ID Cards Found Abandoned on Jalpally Road; Police Launch Probe

Hyderabad: More than 500 voter ID cards were found abondoned in a bag on Jalpally Road, on Monday. Locals spotted the bag and upon finding the voter cards at Forest Park, informed under Pahadishareef police who seized it and began investigations. According to police, a postman had reportedly misplaced the bag containing the voter cards and did not inform the authorities nor lodged a complaint with the police. Police said most of the recovered cards belonged to voters from the Chandrayangutta Assembly constituency.
