Over 35 City Colleges Brainstorm Civic Solutions at Hyderabad Youth Assembly
The session focused on taking the proposals beyond discussion and converting them into student-led projects.
Hyderaabad:Students from more than 35 colleges from across the city discussed community problems and project ideas linked to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNDG) during Phase I of the Hyderabad Youth Assembly’s XVI season. The proposals will move to planning, resource mobilisation and execution during the coming phases.
Students from different academic backgrounds debated ways to address community needs and discussed practical solutions that could lead to measurable social impact. The session focused on taking the proposals beyond discussion and converting them into student-led projects.
Jubilee Hills MLA V. Naveen Yadav, Quthbullapur MLA K.P. Vivekanand Goud and Mamidi Hari Krishna, director of the Telangana BC Employability Skill Development and Training Centre, participated in the assembly. They shared their views on the proposals and asked students to consider practical aspects while developing their ideas. Participants will now work together on planning the projects, arranging resources and taking them to the ground during subsequent phases of the HYA season.
