Opposition Demands Action on KLIS Irregularities, Questions Ghose Commission's Scope
The Ghose commission's purpose was defeated because it ignored the CAG report, failed to recommend specific action, and left the decision to the government, while implicated contractors gave electoral bonds to the BJP, Congress, and BRS.
Hyderabad: The Congress government should not escape from taking action against the people who are responsible for the KLIS irregularities. The Justice P.C. Ghose commission didn’t do its job well. It named only one contractor while several others were involved in the irregularities, said Akbaruddin Owaisi, Assembly MIM floor leader.
These big contractors bought electoral bonds and gifted them to the BJP, Congress and the BRS Why didn’t the Justice Ghose commission delve into the CAG report? The very purpose of appointing the commission was defeated since it failed to recommend any specific action and left it to the government which in turn wants to leave it to the House.
