Operation Sindoor: Hyderabad Student Booked For Posting Provocative Content
The case was booked based on a complaint lodged by the college principal

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad police booked a case against the second-year BBA girl student for posting highly inappropriate and hateful content on social media platforms, particularly targeting Operation Sindoor.
The case was booked against her under Sections 196 (promoting enmity between different groups on grounds of religion, race, place of birth, residence, language, caste, or community) and 353(2) (statements or reports that could promote enmity or hatred between different groups) of BNS, based on a complaint lodged by the college principal A. Srikanth Reddy from Champapet.
In his complaint, Reddy said that it has come to his notice from staff and students that the girl (name withheld), who is currently studying BBA course, posted highly inappropriate and hateful content on social media platforms, particularly targeting Operation Sindoor.
The Instagram story posted by her contained statements, which were highly objectionable. She also posted comments on WhatsApp criticizing India and expressing views that support Pakistan while spreading hate against India.
She reportedly made certain provocative statements about Hyderabad also, Reddy said in the complaint.
Considering it as a serious threat, Reddy lodged a complaint with IS Sadan police requesting to register a case and take appropriate legal action against the student as per law.
