One-time Chance to Clear Backlogs for UG Students at Osmania University
The exams will be held based on the last available syllabus that was in force during the student’s original admission period, ensuring that they are evaluated within the academic framework they were initially enrolled in.

Hyderabad: Osmania University (OU) has offered a one-time chance for undergraduate students admitted between 2000 and 2015 to clear their long-pending backlog papers. This special provision applies to students of BA, BCom., BSc., BBA and BSW courses under the now-defunct Year-Wise Scheme (YWS).
The examinations are tentatively scheduled for July 2025, and eligible candidates must pay a penal fee in addition to the regular examination fee to appear. Applications must be submitted through the concerned colleges, and the university has made it clear that no applications or payments will be accepted beyond the stipulated dates. Students can apply without a late fee until June 19. Those who miss this window may still apply between June 20 and 24 by paying a late fee of Rs.500. All applications must be submitted online by colleges before 5 pm on June 25.
