Oil Industry Leaders Advocate for Fuel Conservation

Hyderabad: Saksham, the annual fortnight-long fuel conservation campaign by the oil industry, concluded on Friday. Organised nationwide to promote sustainable energy practices, the programme emphasised adopting alternative energy sources for a cleaner environment and reduced carbon footprints.
In Telangana, activities started on February 14 and included awareness drives, workshops, school competitions, walkathons, cyclothons, LPG panchayats, marathons, and technical seminars. The campaign engaged thousands via digital platforms, radio, television, and print media.

The valedictory function was attended by industry stakeholders and heads of oil marketing companies, celebrating the initiative's impact on environmental sustainability.
