Officials Speed Up Arrangements for CM’s June 2 Visit
The Chief Minister is expected to launch the second phase of the Indiramma housing scheme as part of Telangana Formation Day celebrations.
Adilabad:District officials have intensified preparations for Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy’s visit and public meeting scheduled at Kagaznagar in Komaram Bheem Asifabad district on June 2.
The Chief Minister is expected to launch the second phase of the Indiramma housing scheme as part of Telangana Formation Day celebrations.
District collector K. Haritha, SP Nitika Pant and additional collectors Youvaraj Marmat and M. David inspected the venue at Kagaznagar X Roads on Friday.
Officials reviewed arrangements related to the public meeting venue, vehicle parking and route maps for the Chief Minister’s visit.
Revanth Reddy is also scheduled to inaugurate Indiramma houses at Kolam Kotari village in Kerameri mandal. The village is inhabited by Kolams, a Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Group (PVTG).
Sources said the Chief Minister may interact with beneficiaries after inaugurating the houses before addressing the public meeting.
Congress leaders, including Mancherial MLA Kokkirala Premsagar Rao, MLC Dande Vittal, DCC president Atram Suguna, former MLA Atram Sakku, Asifabad Market Committee chairperson Irukulla Manga, former DCC president Vishwa Prasad and party Asifabad constituency in-charge Shyam Naik, are focusing on mobilising people for the meeting.
Party leaders are also conducting meetings in mandal headquarters and urging cadre and local leaders to attend the public gathering.
