Flyover, Underpass to Ease Traffic Congestion

GHMC and MA&UD officials inspected ongoing work on a flyover and underpass at IIIT Junction under the Hyderabad City Traffic Plan (HCTP). The projects are expected to ease congestion on one of the city's busiest routes, which houses several IT hubs and business establishments.
GHMC commissioner K. Ilambarithi, along with HMDA commissioner Sarfaraz Ahmed, traffic joint commissioner Joel David and Projects CE Bhaskar Reddy, visited key junctions in the area, including IIIT and Gachibowli. Zonal commissioner R. Upender Reddy briefed them on ongoing and proposed beautification works at these locations.

He directed officials to take necessary precautions to ensure smooth traffic movement and minimise inconvenience to commuters. The team also discussed land acquisition requirements and traffic management plans for the IIIT Junction flyover and underpass, which are expected to significantly reduce congestion.
