Observer Asks BLOs To Ensure No Voter Is Left Out
The observer reviewed the functioning of help desks, distribution and collection of enumeration forms, data entry and digitisation of records.

HANAMKONDA: State electoral roll observer and SHAKTI department secretary Hari Chandana Dasari on Saturday reviewed the Special Intensive Revision (SIR)-2026 of electoral rolls in Hanamkonda district and directed Booth Level Officers (BLOs) to ensure that every eligible voter is included in the electoral rolls.
Accompanied by Hanamkonda district collector Chahat Bajpai, she visited Srinivas Colony in Balasamudram and Deen Dayal Nagar on Hunter Road to inspect the progress of the revision exercise.
The observer reviewed the functioning of help desks, distribution and collection of enumeration forms, data entry and digitisation of records. She also interacted with BLOs to assess the door-to-door verification process and the identification of absent, shifted, deceased and proposed deletion cases.
Hari Chandana instructed BLOs to visit every household, distribute enumeration forms to all eligible voters and assist residents in filling them accurately. She directed officials to digitise the collected forms without delay and complete the exercise within the Election Commission's stipulated schedule.
She emphasised the need for transparency in voter registration, corrections and deletions, and instructed officials to thoroughly verify every case before taking a final decision. She also asked officials to ensure that help desks provide prompt assistance and resolve public grievances without delay.
Revenue divisional officer Venkateshwarlu, Tahsildar Ravinder Reddy and other officials were present during the inspection.
