Nursing Officer Results Out After Months Delay
Candidates can check their marks by logging in to the MHSRB portal using their hall ticket number, mobile number and date of birth. The final answer key and related notices are also available on the site.

Hyderabad: Over 40,000 candidates across Telangana finally received their Nursing Officer written examination results on May 5, ending months of uncertainty. The computer-based test, conducted by the Medical Health Services Recruitment Board (MHSRB) on November 23 last year, was held to fill 2,322 posts in state-run hospitals.
Of the 42,244 applicants, 40,423 appeared for the exam. The MHSRB website has now published each candidate’s normalised marks. While the board has not officially released cut-off marks, subject experts and coaching centres estimate that general category candidates may require 60–65 marks out of 80 to stay in contention. For BC, SC and ST candidates, qualifying scores may range between 45 and 60 depending on the category and exam session. Scores were normalised across two sessions and ties will be resolved up to six decimal places.
Following the exam, MHSRB invited objections to the provisional answer key. Many aspirants submitted feedback, but only one answer in Session 2 was revised after review. Certificate verification is likely to commence in June. Appointment is based solely on exam performance and candidate eligibility. Selected candidates will be posted across government medical colleges, hospitals, AYUSH institutions, urban health centres and other public healthcare facilities.
In this recruitment cycle, 2,322 posts were advertised. Last year, 6,956 nursing officers were recruited under a similar drive, bringing the total number of hires in two years to 9,278. Candidates can check their marks by logging in to the MHSRB portal using their hall ticket number, mobile number and date of birth. The final answer key and related notices are also available on the site.
