NRR Rejects Revanth’s Centre-Bash, Slams Congress Over Failures, Urges Cadres To Strengthen BJP in Telangana

He accused both Congress and BRS of aligning with the Majlis party and prioritising political gains over urban development.

Hyderabad: BJP state president N. Ramchander Rao challenged Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy’s claim that Telangana receives negligible support from the Centre, calling it “patent falsehood.” He also strongly condemned the recent comments of north-south divide and top central posts are held by leaders from north India and said that such statements undermine national unity.

Speaking at party workers’ training camp at Yadagirigutta, Rao accused the state Congress government of failing to point to any major achievements during its two-and-a-half years in office and alleged the tenure has been marred by controversies and corruption charges. He accused both Congress and BRS of aligning with the Majlis party and prioritising political gains over urban development.

Calling for intensified organisational work ahead of upcoming local contests, Rao instructed cadres to return to their constituencies and engage with voters, actively participate in the Election Commission’s special rolls revision, ensure eligible voters are registered, and push to remove fraudulent names from rolls. He framed these efforts as essential to keeping elections transparent.

Rao said the BJP constantly studies political and social changes and adapts, which has helped it grow into the world’s largest political party by membership. He lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 12 years in office and expressed confidence that Modi will continue to lead the country beyond the current term.

Rao appealed to Telangana voters to consider BJP as the credible alternative to BRS and Congress, arguing those parties have failed the state. He said building BJP’s strength in local bodies is the first step towards state-level success.
