No Party Can Survive If Cong. Speaks Of Its Sops

Addressing a special meeting of Congress leaders from Madhira municipality at Madupalli in Khammam district, he urged party members to focus on securing victory for Congress candidates in the upcoming municipal elections.

Nalgonda: Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka on Friday said no other political party would survive if the Congress consistently communicated its work and welfare initiatives to the people.

Addressing a special meeting of Congress leaders from Madhira municipality at Madupalli in Khammam district, he urged party members to focus on securing victory for Congress candidates in the upcoming municipal elections. He said if every party leader explained the benefits extended to Madhira residents under the Congress government to at least ten people daily, it would be sufficient to ensure electoral success. He listed welfare measures such as ration cards, fine rice distribution, Arogyasri, free electricity up to 200 units and free RTC bus travel for women, and said these should be highlighted among voters. The Deputy Chief Minister asserted that no development work had been left unfinished in Madhira town. He cited major initiatives including underground drainage, underground electricity lines, development of lakes into tourism parks, construction of dedicated buildings for degree colleges, intermediate colleges and high schools, establishment of an agriculture polytechnic and a general polytechnic, upgradation of the ITI into an advanced technology centre, and the provision of facilities such as a bus stand, sub-treasury office and banks.

He said Madhira would present a transformed look after the completion of ongoing underground drainage works. Stressing the need to elect Congress candidates, he said uninterrupted continuation of development works was essential for the town’s long-term growth and a better future for coming generations.
