No one is afraid of intimidation politics in State, says Kishan Reddy

Kishan Reddy responds to Revanth Reddy's remarks in New Delhi

Hyderabad: Union Coal Minister G Kishan Reddy on Thursday made it clear that no one was afraid of intimidation politics in the State.

Referring to the remarks made by the Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy during his visit to New Delhi seeking the Central government to sanction funds for various projects in Telangana, he said, “Did Revanth Reddy come to power only after giving promises to people after consulting us? Did he say that he designed the projects and does development work only if the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP government give him money?”

“To what extent is it justified for States to engage in blackmail politics like this? I have been talking to various departments about many projects related to the State government from time to time and writing letters to ensure that development works. No one is afraid of intimidation politics and no one believes his (Revanth Reddy’s) words,” he said.

Kishan Reddy said that people have understood what kind of empty words Revanth Reddy would speak after believing him in the assembly elections. “I did not enter Parliament with the kindness of the Congress. I am only responsible to the people of Telangana. I am not answerable for Revanth Reddy's words,” Kishan Reddy said.

He challenged Revanth Reddy to prove that he had blocked even one project related to the State.

“The Chief Minister, who is incompetent and has no guts, is trying to wash his hands. There is no action on how to make a financial plan for the projects. He also has no clarity on how to raise money for the metro project. The project details were recently sent to the Centre. It has to be circulated to all ministries. It doesn't happen just by sending something like this. There is a system for it. Being a Chief Minister, he is talking nonsense without any understanding,” he added.
