No Cockfights, Gambling, Warns CP
Special surveillance has been arranged across the district to curb anti-social activities: Commissioner of Police P. Sai Chaitanya

NIZAMABAD: Commissioner of Police P. Sai Chaitanya has warned that strict legal action will be taken against anyone conducting cockfights, gambling or other illegal activities in the Nizamabad, Armoor and Bodhan divisions of the Nizamabad Police Commissionerate.
He said special surveillance has been arranged across the district to curb anti-social activities. Continuous vehicle checks are being carried out and patrolling has been intensified, particularly in border areas. Clear instructions have also been issued to police stations located along the Maharashtra–Nizamabad border to remain on high alert.
“All officers have been directed to register cases and take stringent action against anyone found involved in cockfights or gambling,” the CP said.
He urged the public to inform the police immediately if they come across any such illegal activities, either by contacting the nearest police station or by dialling 100. The identity of informants will be kept confidential, he assured.
