No Coaching Centre Has Permission for ‘Mega Reso Fast’ Test

Officials say no centre is authorised; parents told to ignore false claims, ads

Hyderabad: The Rangareddy district educational officer (DEO) has said that no coaching centre in the district has permission to conduct the ‘Mega Reso Fast’ exam announced for December 14. The statement was issued a day after a representation was sent to the commissioner and director of school education, alleging illegal activity by the organisers.

The officer said, “There are no authorised coaching centres in Bengaluru, Madhapur, Gachibowli, Chaitanyapuri, Kothapet or Dilsukhnagar that have approval to run such programmes, and claims made about this exam are false.”

Venkat Sainath of Hyderabad School Parents Association had stated that the organisers were collecting a registration fee of Rs 300 from students of Classes V to X, and that they had publicised scholarship and tablet distribution without any legal authority. The complaint also listed the address of the office and asked for action. Deccan Chronicle had reported the issue on December 10.

The DEO recorded that no organisation has been allowed to conduct special coaching or talent-related tests for school students. Students were asked to avoid believing advertisements about the exam, and parents were asked to stay cautious about publicity that links it to scholarships or other incentives.

Schools were instructed to alert district officials if they come across similar cases. The DEO said this was needed so that students and families are not drawn into programmes that have no permission from the department. The clarification ended by stating that the Mega Reso Fast exam scheduled for December 14 has not been authorised in any manner.
