Nizamabad Marks Road Safety Month With Awareness Drive
From January 1 to 31, a series of road safety awareness programmes will be conducted across the district.
NIZAMABAD: On the occasion of National Road Safety Month, awareness pamphlets and posters were released on Thursday under the aegis of the District Road Safety Committee. The materials were released by Police Commissioner P. Sai Chaitanya, along with district transport officer G. Durga Prameela.
From January 1 to 31, a series of road safety awareness programmes will be conducted across the district. Addressing the gathering, the Police Commissioner appealed to citizens to strictly follow traffic rules and adopt safe driving practices to prevent accidents.
The programme was attended by additional DCP (admin) G. Baswa Reddy, additional DCP (AR) Ram Chander Rao, transport officer J. Umamaheshwar Rao, motor vehicle inspectors, Traffic ACP Mastan Ali, representatives of the Red Cross, and others.
