NIT Warangal Holds First Industry Conclave-Career Launch Summit

NIT Warangal organised its first Industry Conclave-Career Launch Summit to prepare students for the 2026–27 placement season through industry interactions and leadership sessions.

The Centre for Career Planning and Development (CCPD) at the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Warangal organised its first Industry Conclave-Career Launch Summit 2026 on August 1 and 2 to prepare students for the 2026-27 campus placement season.

The two-day summit brought together industry leaders, alumni and students to provide insights into evolving industry expectations, emerging employment trends and the skills required to succeed in a competitive job market.

Addressing the gathering virtually, NIT Warangal Director Prof. Bidyadhar Subudhi urged students to understand industry requirements and continuously upgrade their professional skills. Dean (Student Welfare) Prof. Kiran Kumar emphasised the importance of adaptability, initiative and holistic personality development in building successful careers.

CCPD Head Prof. P.V. Suresh said the summit was organised to strengthen industry-academia collaboration and help students gain a better understanding of career opportunities ahead of the placement season. The Placement Brochure for the 2026-27 academic year was also released during the event.

Representatives from leading companies, including HPCL, ExxonMobil, Micron and Truveta, participated in leadership talks, panel discussions and alumni interaction sessions. They shared insights into career opportunities in core engineering, semiconductors, energy and artificial intelligence, while NIT Warangal alumni working in these organisations interacted with students and shared their professional experiences.
