Nirmal police rescue four missing women in dense forest in Kappanapalli
The Nirmal police formed special teams with more than 50 personnel to trace the women in the forest

Hyderabad: Cheers returned on the faces of family members of four women, who were traced by the Nirmal police on Friday, after they went missing in the dense forest at Kappanapalli village in Nirmal district.
The village erupted in joy on seeing the four women - Rajula Radha, 35, Kambala Lingavva, 36, Gatlamidi Lakshmi, 40, and Bathula Saroja, 40, - returning safely with the assistance of the police. The police provided water and fruits to the women while bringing them to the village from the forest.
Upon receiving information that the women, who went into the forest to collect Tendu leaves, went missing on Thursday evening, the Nirmal police under the supervision of Superintendent of Police, G Janaki Sharmila, formed special teams with more than 50 police personnel to trace the women from different locations.
Using drones, the police traced the women on Bhimanna Gutta and after a five hours search operation the police brought them safely to the village, heaving a sigh of relief for the family members who were worried over the safety of the women.
The villagers appreciated the prompt action taken by the police in tracing the women. They felicitated Janaki Sharmila and other officers who took part in the search operation.
