NIMS Cancer Screening Today

The rally will begin at 9 am and will be followed by an awareness session

Hyderabad:Marking World Cancer Day, the Nims’s department of medical oncology will organise a free cancer screening camp on Wednesday and a cancer awareness rally on its campus, with a focus on early detection among women. As part of the initiative, Nims will offer cervical cancer screening, breast cancer screening for women aged 30 to 60 years, and oral cancer screening, particularly for individuals who consume gutka, chew pan, or smoke. The camp will be held from 10.30 am to 4 pm.

The rally will begin at 9 am and will be followed by an awareness session. The programme is being organised with the message “Early Detection Saves Lives,” highlighting the importance of timely diagnosis in reducing cancer-related mortality.
